The group had to go through a series of difficulties while developing a short and long video streaming platform in order to provide the users with a cross-device smooth, scalable, and engaging experience.

Keeping the playback of high-quality videos without any delays or buffering was the most difficult task, especially when the usage was at its peak. Speed and stability of the streaming were of utmost importance in the whole process.

Personalized Content Feed

The production of very precise recommendations was dependent on, first, the analysis of users' behaviour, and second, the training of very intelligent algorithms to display the most relevant short and long videos.

Content Management and Rights

Handling user-generated content and managing usage rights required careful planning. The platform needed clear policies and frequent modernisation to ensure content followed the rules and respected ownership rights.

Network and Bandwidth Limitations
